Ellen Rose Cook Procell, 79, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away December 2, 2019 surrounded by loving family. She passed away after soldiering a number of years from Parkinson’s Disease and related effects. A memorial service for Ellen will be held on Saturday December 14, 2019 at 11:00am at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home, with internment thereafter.
Ellen was born April 15, 1940 in Shreveport, Louisiana to William Woodrow Cook and Ethel C Bishop. She was raised in Houston, Texas. Ellen worked many years for General Motors and Western Electric. She was a loving, dedicated, and supportive mother to her six children. Her favorite charities she loved to support were St. Jude’s Hospital and the American Parkinson Disease Association. Ellen is proceeded in death by her parents, and son Christopher Brent Procell.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Nancy P Cade, Rebecca Kinne (Dennis Kinne); sons, John C Procell (Rita Baker), Charles C Procell (Frank Gonzalez), Phillip R Procell; grandkids, Jonathan M Procell, Zachary J Toloso Sr (Sharnae Toloso); and great grandkids, Za’Niya Toloso, Zachary J Toloso Jr.
