My Precious Son
These are your tiny footprints,
So perfect and so small,
Due to your diagnosis,
they never touched the ground at all,
not one tiny footprint.
For now that you have wings,
We will never forget about you
and the six years that He gave.
For now we have learned.
God felt your tiny footprints were
Made for other things.
These are your tiny footprints
that i hear in the rain.
They come to us as tears of joy,
Knowing you're still with us
But no longer in pain,
We will see your tiny footprints,
in the rustle of the leaves.
I know I hear you in the wind,
The moments that we grieve.
Most of all, you are forever in our hearts.
I'm sorry for the moments I am weak,
If I'm truly honest, this is tearing me apart.
Strong I must Stay, not only for myself,
But for your Daddy and Brother.
We must take this on together, with each coming day.
But life without you, Mason, will never be the same,
and hard it will remain.
Love Always and Forever,
Mommy, Daddy, Brother and Sisters
