Clarence Pool
July 1, 1938 – March 31, 2021
Clarence Pool, age 82, passed away on March 31, 2021 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born July 1, 1938 in Sikeston, MO. to the late Clyde and Lela Mae Noyes Pool. He retired from Potlatch/Tetra Pak in 2004 after forty-six years of service. He is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Mark (Freida) Pool of Southaven, MS. and Scott Pool of San Antonio, TX.; four grandchildren, Faith Pool, Cohen Pool, Connor Pool and Leah Fischer and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry C. Pool and daughter-in-law, Janie Pool. A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Maynard Cemetery in Diehlstadt, MO. with David Carnell, officiating. I graduated with Clarence in the Class of '57, but it was my husband, David Palmer from the Class of '56, who knew him best.
David and Clarence and Larry grew up across the street from each other on Matthews Street. I am sorry that David is not here to tell you of some of their adventures. He always enjoyed spending time talking with Clarence at our reunions. I am sorry for your loss of his physical presence.
