Don was a good friend to me and my Son’s first friend at hunting camp “Mr Don” as he called him. I’ll miss his dry wit and humble but strong presence. Condolences to his family.

Saying "see you on the other side" to a very special friend to us for over 50+ years. The 4 "Brothers" Don, Hank, Johnny and myself (Billy Wade) who shared all the hunting years at the various "huts" in Crawfordville and all of us being married 50+ years and enjoying special times with the "Brides" and with the children also. Unique friendships that are so special to each of us. Don, we know that you are pain free and will be watching over your loved ones and your friends, but it saddens us to see you go, but we know that you are in your eternal home and we will see you again. Keeping our Memories very close. Much Love to Kathy, Emily and all of the Family(s). Billy (Wade) and Kay

More like a brother than an uncle to me. I will continue to share my “Queen of Sheba” memory with the kids at the reunion since you always asked me to tell it at every reunion. Love and prayers to all who loved you. You will be dearly missed. Say hi to Pa-pa, Ma-ma and Mother up in heaven. 😢

A lifetime of memories, starting with when we were very young children and he would play dolls and tea parties with me and I would play cars and trucks with him. And how as we grew up, how he loved to aggravate me ( only because he was my brother). I love him so much and will forever miss him.
