Harry D. Cargal age 83 passed away May 11, 2013 from complications of Alzheimer's disease. Formerly of Duluth, GA, Mr. Cargal was residing at the GA War Veteran's Home in Milledgeville, GA. Mr. Cargal served in the U. S. Army from 1950 - 1956 and received the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal & Bronze Star, Combat Infantryman Badge and United Nations Service Medal. He is predeceased by his wife, Lillie Mae Cargal and son, Dr. William Dewey Kitchens. He is survived by his daughter, Nancy-Ann and Warren Van Hutten of Loganville, GA; son, Gordon Stacey Cargal of Duluth, GA; daughter, Carla Cargal of Stockbridge, GA five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Tributes in Mr. Harry Cargal's memory may be placed at www.eternalhillsfuneralhome.com. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, May 14th in Eternal Hills Chapel with Rev. Nicole Lock officiating. Interment, Wednesday, May 15th, 11:30 am in the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Harry Cargal's honor to the Georgia War Veteran's Home, Veteran's Benefit Fund, 2249 Vinson Highway, Milledgeville, GA 31061. Visitation with the family will be held today, 5 to 8 pm, in Eternal Hills Funeral Home, Snellville, GA 770-972-3155.

I will miss Harry, Wasn't around him much growing up,But do remember when he did visit was always happy in a good mood.
At Christmas him and his wife bought me a doll and was so happy over it.

Yesterday was Harry first Sunday in Heaven.I can see him walking around in his new body with lillymae.Terry Dewy mom, Dad, Bettye ,Bobby Jimmy. He was smiling in heaven.He left his car for me to drive when he was in Korea to fight for his country.He was so good to me and I love him very much.
