Jeanne was the consummate pediatric nurse. I was a new instructor with students in the late 60’s and 70’s and Jeanne was wonderful to me and kind to my students. No matter how busy the pediatric unit was Jeanne always took the extra minute to answer a question or soothe an upset child. She loved her babies and sick children and always came to work with a smile on her face. I shall never forget how she comforted the children and helped to teach my students what nursing was and how to care for patients. May she rest in peace.
