Dennis- Lillian E. Heylin, 95, of Northside Village, in Dennis, passed away on July 12, at the home of her daughter. She was born on February 20, 1925 to parents Simon and Elizabeth Karol in Norwood, MA. She attended school in Norwood and graduated from Boston City Hospital Nursing School as an R.N. She married Francis C. Heylin in 1945. They raised their family in Springfield and later moved to Fort Pierce, FL. Lillian moved to Dennis in 2007.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1993, her daughter, Elizabeth Cardoza in 1989, and her son, Michael Heylin in 2007.

Lillian was affectionately called Nina by her family. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Judi Lieberwirth and husband Paul of Dennis, her grandchildren Kathryn Denver and fiancé Chris LaFrance of Dennis, Jill Egan and husband Michael of Hanover, Andrew Lieberwirth and wife Brooke of Hanover. In addition, she will also be missed by her great grandchildren Anna, James, Grace, Dirk and Chase.

A special thanks to Cheryl Franklin, who has been a great caretaker and a wonderful friend. We would also like to thank the VNA Hospice staff that helped us through this difficult time. Burial will be private.
