Nerina Peters went home to be with the Lord, on Monday, February 25, 2019 at the St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. She was ninety-four years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Arcangelo and Philomena D’Agostine. She was raised in the Burholme section of the city. Nerina had lived at Brookdale Assisted Living in Richboro for the last five years. She had previously been a longtime resident of Churchville.
Nerina had worked at SKF in Philadelphia and as a dressmaker before she was married. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, gardening and bingo. Nerina was very family oriented.
Mrs. Peters was a former member of the Davisville Church in Southampton. She was a faithful believer in Christ.
Nerina was the beloved wife of John A. Peters for sixty-five years before his death in 2014. She was the devoted mother of Joel M. Peters (Lynne G.) of Holland and the late John M. and Eric J. Peters. She was the loving grandmother of Nathaniel J. and Jeremy E. Peters. She is also survived by her brother, Frank D’Agostine.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 10 to 11 AM at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, 659 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966. Her service will be at 11 AM. Nerina’s interment will be private.
