Kathryn (Cockayne) Karish Litke

She was born in Southington on Feb. 11, 1932, the daughter of the late Percy and Catherine (O'Connell) Cockayne. Kathy received her Master's Degree from Central CT State College. Prior to her retirement, she had taught at Kennedy Middle School for many years.

She is survived by her children, Karen Karish and her husband Michael Stone of Amston, William J. Karish of Jacksonville, FL and James D. Karish and his wife Angela of Burr Hill, VA. She is also survived by her grandchildren Logan Nieckarz, Ryan, Alex, Tom, Dan and Kelsey Karish and 3 great grandchildren.She also leaves her sister Jean Scavotto and her husband Carmen of Enfield as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her second husband Richard Litke and son Thomas Karish.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 23rd at 10:30 am at St. Thomas Church, 99 Bristol St. Southington. Burial will be at St. Thomas Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday morning from 8:30-10 am at the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington.
