Mary Isabel Pasciutti, 93, of Southington, CT, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021, at the Cheshire Regional Rehabilitation Center. She is predeceased by her husband, Edward R. Pasciutti, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage. She is survived by her children, Edward, Joseph (Donna), Catherine Elliott (Joe), and grandchildren, Kyle and Katrina. She was born in Washington D.C., the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Pollock. She and her sister, Catherine Ann, were raised in the Washington DC and New York areas. Before marriage, Mary was employed by the U.S. Department of State in the Foreign Service group, and earlier, in the office which would come to be known as the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. Later, she and Ed raised their children in Beltsville, MD, and took the family on many camping trips through the years. Mary was a long-term member of St. Joseph Church, Beltsville, and a daily communicant. In addition, she volunteered at St. Joseph elementary and DeMatha Catholic high schools. After initially retiring in MD, she and her husband moved to CT in 2002 to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Mary was a long-time member of the team that managed weekly church offertory at St. Dominic Church, Southington. Later, she became a member of St. Thomas Church, Southington, where her children were members. A dedicated mother and grandmother, she was warm, humorous, and hospitable. I will always remember Mary asking if she could help with anything like or partys at the Village. My sister loved Mary also (maureen) they did lots together. I am homebound now wish I could have come. Love to all will miss her greatly

Aunt Mary was a true gem and a kind soul. Without fail, she sent me and my family a Christmas card every year, even in some of her frailest moments. Rest in peace XOXO

I was blessed to know Mary thru my sister, her mother in law, for 30 years. I always enjoyed her company and she made me feel welcome. She was a considerate and gentle spirit. I believe her greatest joy was spending time with her family. I was privileged to be included in a family vacation a few years ago to Maine. Mary so enjoyed the charming house we rented on a lake and visiting beautiful gardens. I know Mary is with her Lord. I will miss Mary...for a short time.

To Joe, Ed and families.
It was with great sadness that we heard of your mother’s passing. We will miss seeing her take her daily walk in our neighborhood, faithfully, no matter the weather. She was quite a lady.
