Maggie E. Salls

Marguerite “Maggie” Salls, 91, of Sparta, New Jersey passed away on August 11, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Maggie was born in Miami, Florida and lived in New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia before moving to New Jersey. She was a teacher at Millmont Elementary School in Reading School District in Reading, PA. Maggie was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Reading where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She was a master gardener and a life time member of the Merrimac Dog Training Club in VA. Maggie is predeceased by her beloved husband A. Briggs Salls. She is survived by her beloved children: daughter Victoria Sweet and her husband Phil; daughter Holly Salls; son Peter Salls and his wife Jolene; grandmother of: Eric Sweet and his wife Emily; Andrew Sweet and his wife Samantha; and granddaughter Michelle Semnar; great grandmother of Lucia, Oliver and Zoe Sweet, Brooklyn and Brynne Garcia and great grandson Weston Semnar. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 1-3pm at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St, Sparta, NJ 07871.
