Orin was a genius and a prince among men. He loved to bend an ear as he had a book full of amazing experiences. But that wasn't all; he was also a great listener and he was actually eager to help anyone with advice or financial assistance. He was an amazing human being. I will truly miss his phone calls at 6-7 am. The world has lost a funny , quick witted, compassionate soul. My sincere condolences to all that new him especially his granddaughter that he always kvelled about................... Sorry Adellereally sorry.

I met Orrin and Adele through their daughter, Lauren. Orrin never treated me as one of Lauren's friends but rather another daughter.

I always looked forward to catching up with him at the annual "LaPorta Bash" parties, where he would try to convince me to move to Japan to teach English to the kids there. Everyone always complained about how far away I lived, and here he was pushing me to go to Japan!

There isn't anything he wouldn't do for those he loved. I promise to do the same for your family now! Love you all!

I didn't know Orrin as a lifelong friend; having met him when I married Didi, who was his lifelong friend. He opened his home and heart from the beginning and showed the sincere consideration and concern of a lifelong friend during the 10 years we knew one another. Years filled with great personal challenges were made easier by his words and acts of support. Orrin was a true 'original' and he will be sorely missed by those who were fortunate to have known him. My sincere condolences to Adele, Lauren, Adam, Kendall, Rebecca, and Herb.

I've been constant friends with Orrin & Adele for over 40 years. We lived around the block from each other in White Meadow Lake; our children played together. Orrin was my "other" husband. He was kind, compassionate, funny, sensitive, intelligent and very generous. When I sought advice, he rendered it. When I needed a shoulder, he offered both of his. There wasn't anything he wouldn't do for me & I appreciated it with my heart & soul. He blew a final kiss to me in response to mine & I will hold that in my heart forever & ever. RIP, my dear friend. You made the world a better place & those who's lives you touched with sorely miss you.

Dear klitzner family, not only did you lose a loved one, but we all did, Orrin was a kind and loving husband, father, father inlaw, and a grandfather that no one can imagine, and last but not least a true friend that loved each and every person for who they are, he always saw the truth in everyone and believed to give everyone a fair chance, from the years I knew him, he always put me to look positive on things, always with a smile and always seemed happy even in the thoughest times, he would be positive, Orrin I will miss you dearly, our weekly conversations, and after all I will miss a true loving friend and I will never forget you

The world is a sadder place with the passing of our good friend, Orrin.

Orrin, we will miss your stories, your advice, dinners out and our wonderful visits. You will forever be Ken’s favorite motorcycle and coffee drinking buddy! Rubber side down, shiny side up.....We know you’re on that great BSA in the sky.

Adele, Lauren, Adam, & Kendall, Rebecca and Herb,
Words are insufficient to express the depth of our sadness today. It was a privilege to have known Orrin and to be called his friend. His humor, generous soul and strong spirit were an inspiration to us both. Orrin will be deeply missed. We will see you on Sunday. Please do not hesitate to call if there is anything we can do.

All our love,
Ken and Deb
