Here is a verse I penned:

Broken hearts and broken dreams
Sweetheart, usurp your place,
Sweetly sleep in perfect peace
Dear Eleana Grace!

And a poem:

Time was when we dreamed of a dear little pair
In matching pink outfits arrayed,
And that was the time we prepared with such care;
We hoped, we planned, and we prayed.

And while we were dreaming, an angel song
Awakened our Little Girl Blue ' ',',',',','
Though years may be many and years be long,
We'll keep faith and ever be true.

Ay, faithful to Jesus, by faith we'll stand
Each in our same old place,
Awaiting the touch of a little hand,
The smile of a little face.

What comfort while waiting the long years through
For Jesus to come in the air,
That He will be bringing our darling, too,
Who's kept in His loving care.
