Gordon was born July 31, 1925, in Hollis, Oklahoma. He spent his childhood in the Oklahoma and Texas area before joining the United States Navy at age 18. Gordon served two years in World War II including time in the Pacific on the Island of Kwajalein Atoll building runways as a Seabee.
After returning, he married childhood sweetheart Morell, and they came to stay in the Spokane area to raise his two children.
Gordon and Morell both loved Fishing and Camping and spent their most precious moments at their cabin on Marshall Lake.
Gordon was proceeded in death by his wife Morell, and his sons Mike and Stoy.
The Celebration of Gordon’s Life will take place 2:30 pm Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Pines Cemetery - 1402 S Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
