Ila was such a beautiful soul. I worked at the Indian trail Supercuts and was one of her main stylists there. She brightened some of the stores darkest days with her beautiful nature. A year after I left that store I received a call from her asking if I was still doing hair and if I could come to her house and give her a wash and blow dry. I cried from excitement because I really cared for her and was so happy that she found my number again. I have been doing her hair in her home from the end of 2017 till about August of 2018, I wish I had known sooner about her passing. I’m so sorry for the family’s loss. She will be greatly missed, and her memory will love forever in my heart for sure!

I always looked forward to a visit with Aunt Ila whenever I made it to Spokane. She was a connection to the past that I will miss dearly. She always had a good memory, usually a funny memory of my Dad, her brother Sonny. I admire her grit and toughness. I respect her for her dedication to her country and love of her family. Rest in peace dear Aunt Ila, thanks for the memories!

What a loving, smart, awesome lady. This woman loved her family, she was a lovely host, loved to talk about her family. She had such a great memory, sharp to the end. I'm so blessed to have visited her this last summer. She lived a long life dedicated to her family and work as a nurse. She will definitely be missed.

Aunt Ila was an amazing lady. She loved her family, her boys and their families, her brothers & sister and their families. For years she sent all of her nieces and nephews a hand made Christmas ornament. I'll never forget her family photo albums, huge albums full of hundreds, maybe thousands of photos. Her memory was incredible - names and birth dates of nieces, nephews, in-laws, out-laws & all!! She will be dearly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her sons Mark and Bob and their families as well as her sister Elaine and her family. I love you all. God bless.
