She was born on February 9, 1958, in Springfield, the daughter of Louis P. and Nancee A. (Neeld) Pioletti.
Nancee Lu attended Ursuline Academy. She went on to work as a school bus driver for the Chatham School District. She loved animals and always had several around her and also enjoyed collecting Mickey Mouse and Coca-Cola memorabilia.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Michael Patrick Louis Pioletti.
Nancee is survived by her close friends, Corey Reed and Brian Murphy of Springfield; siblings, Patrick (Julie) Pioletti of Philo, IL, Michael (Stacy) Pioletti of Chatham, and Kelly (Alan) Hall of
Springfield; nieces and nephews, Nicole Miller, Chad Pioletti, Nina Pioletti, Jarrod Spoonemore, Jacy Spoonemore, Hunter Pioletti, and Karlee Pioletti; and ten great-nieces and nephews.
Cremation was provided by Butler Cremation Tribute Center.
The family will host a Celebration of Life on December 30, 2024, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at Top Cats, 3211 E. Sangamon Ave., Springfield.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective League of Springfield.
