Born to Maxine and William C. Kost, Bill grew up on his parents’ farm in Vermont, Illinois, and
later worked for USDA for over thirty years. He leaves his wife, Noralee Frankel, and daughter,
Elizabeth Kost and son in law, Sean Van Damne.
Bill enjoyed cooking, making various flavors of biscuits, and collecting stamps, political
cartoons, and animation cells.
