My heart goes out to you, dear children and grandchildren of Rose, as you mourn the loss of your mom and grandma. May you find comfort in knowing that now she is with her Lord and Saviour. I have such fond memories of her. I remember so well that she became the first woman council member of Jubilee. At that time the meetings were held at our home. The men would always begin with singing a hymn, and now that Rose was part of council, the male "choir" was joined by Rose's beautiful voice! The kids and I listened from another part of the home, and it brought tears to my eyes. When Phil went to kindergarten Rose was his teacher. Phil says, "Mrs. Rose was such a kind woman. I always loved her genuine concern and love for me. She was my favourite teacher." Both Phil and Heather send their condolences to you also. When I was in Canada some time ago I went to visit with Rose. She was ill then already and it was so good to share back and forth. Clarissa, you were home at your mom's too with your kids. Today was the celebration of your mom's life at Jubilee. My thoughts were with you all. Her beautiful voice is now joining the multitudes to praise our Lord and Saviour! With love, Bep Koole

My Deepest Sympathy,
May God Bless you all and help you find comfort during this difficult time.
I knew Rose from her bi-weekly trips to C Me Mail when she would deliver the Christian Courier newsletter to our office. She was always smiling and a joy to talk to. She loved talking about her children and grand children and her future with Dennis.
She was a very special person and will be sadly missed.
Peace Be With You,
Krystyna

To Rose's family - My deepest sympathies and prayers as you go through these days of mourning and celebration of her life. I am a cousin of Rose on her mother's side of the family. We lived together in an apartment while I was going to college and Rose was teaching in Sioux Center, Ia. She was dating Harry at that time and we got to watch their relationship blossom. She was always pleasant and very easy going. She loved to experiment with recipes and food preparation when it was her turn to cook. Always enjoyed getting to visit with her when she came to Doon to visit her family. Wishing God's blessing and comfort.

Rose and her home were always so welcoming. I will never forget her wood paneled basement and the 70's style bar (which was stocked with toys and games, instead of alcohol). I wasn't quite family, yet I was always welcomed without question. Her sweetness and goodness are rare, and I am sure she will be missed by many! Love.
