It saddens me that i didn't find out until recently. You are one of the nicest people i have ever met, always able to put a smile on the face of others.

I won't forget the times we spent playing Xbox 360 and hanging out on the ice behind your house.

One of my favorite memories of Alex was when we used to hang out at the lake house jet skiing and playing in the sand on his beach.  I was in college at the time, and he was so little then.  Just two dudes hanging out in the sun, battling the swans for use of the dock.  A few years ago, he flew out to Seattle to visit me and my family and I got to take him hiking in the mountains.  I remember he made the worst eggs for us, wanting to make dinner for us as a thank you.  Completely over-spiced, and I laugh now thinking about how apologetic he was as we tried to reassure him they were fine as we choked it down.  He definitely marched to the beat of a different drum and was Grandma Rita's favorite grandkid.  He is missed and loved by our family.  Rest in peace, cousin.
