Edward M. VanDenstorm, age 79, of Roseville, Michigan passed away on November 26, 2021. He was born on August 30, 1942 to the proud parents of Edmund and Eleanor VanDenstorm. Edward was the beloved husband to Janet VanDenstorm for 53 years. He was the loving father to Philip (Dawn) VanDenstorm and the late Raymond VanDenstorm. Edward is the cherished grandfather to Rebecca VanDenstorm, Emma VanDenstorm, Grace VanDenstorm and Sophia VanDenstorm. He is the dear brother to Rose (the late Ralph) Williamson.
After working for the Detroit Free Press for 30+ years, he retired in 2002. He loved to spend his time hunting and fishing with family and friends. A perch dinner was one of his favorites. He was also a big U of M fan and enjoyed watching his granddaughters play sports. Ed was devoted to caring for his family and will be greatly missed.
Mass of resurrection will take place on Monday December 6, 2021, beginning with an in-state at 10:00 am until time of mass at 11 am, at Holy Innocents Church 26100 Ridgemont Street, Roseville, Michigan 48066.
Family will receive friends on Sunday December 5, 2021, from 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm, at Kaul Funeral Home 28433 Jefferson Ave., St., Clair Shores, Michigan 48081.
