Shirley Ilene Vissers, age 92, passed away on March 17, 2024. She is survived by her loving grandchildren: Christine, Michael (Tracy); great-grandchildren: Taylor, Haley, Jameson; daughter-in-law: Angela; as well as many loved nieces, nephews and family members. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, August, son, Gary, and sisters, Dorothy, Phyllis, Helen Mae, Ruth, Joyce Ann, and Arlene. She loved her family and enjoyed playing cards, camping, and going to the casino. She was very involved in her euchre clubs and traveled all over the city to play. Shirley was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary and the Knights of Columbus.
In Shirley’s honor, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Macular Degeneration Foundation or ALS of Michigan.
A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Kaul Funeral Home, 28433 Jefferson Ave., St. Clair Shores.
