Helene - may you rest in peace.  I think of you often.  I just lost my second GSD - Fiyero.  None like my beautiful Orion (your grandog - still missed seven years later.  Hope you are at the bridge with both of our bosys. Love and miss you

Helene was a great neighbor and source of comfort for me while dealing with my colicky newborn. She watched out for us, offered advice from dealing with the baby to gardening, and always made the baby smile. She will be missed on Lansdowne.

Helene and I had our first litter of GSD puppies together, solid black of course.  We had a lot of fun and great times with the dogs and lately we enjoyed lunches together and reminisced about old times.  I will miss the old broad (Helene would laugh that I wrote that in her guest book - but that is how we roll)  She was a dear friend and we all shall miss her greatly.

Helene and I hit it off almost immediately after she moved to Lansdowne. We had like minds about life. She was straight forward and told it how it was.. I am very much the same. I will miss our conversations, she was always unbeat and fun to talk with. Her no nonsense approach reminded me of my own mother. You always new were you stood with her on any given topic, that is a good thing and a rare thing nowadays. My sincere prayers are with her family now.

Dear Sonya,
I am shocked, and sad to hear of the loss of your beloved Mom.
She was very special to me in our years as "dog family" in the Shepherd Club. She was straight forward, and opinionated, and I loved her for that. She said it like it was, didn't she?
