DIANA ADAMS, age 45, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011. She was born on July 13, 1965, in Houston, to Lee and Betty Leatherwood Adams. Diana was a graduate of Alief-Elsik High School and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University, where she was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. She graduated from The University of Texas School of Law and later was Board Certified in Criminal Law. She was a sustaining member of the Junior League of Houston, past President of the Texas Aggie Bar Association, past President of East Fort Bend Panhellenic, a member of the Merchandise Committee for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and the Texas A&M 12th Man Foundation. Diana served as the Assistant District Attorney in Cameron, Nueces, Waller, and Fort Bend Counties, as well as the Assistant City Attorney of Arlington, Texas. She is survived by her parents; sister, Carroll Ann Adams; and many loving relatives and friends. Diana’s family would like to thank Dr. Bill Rowe, M.D., of the Women’s Hospital, for his care and continuing concern. They would also like to say a special thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and Houston Hospice, at Methodist Hospital Medical Center, for their wonderful care and compassion shown to both Diana and their family. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, March 3, 2011, at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, with the Rev. Drew Wood, Celebrant. There will be a reception immediately following in Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to 12th Man Scholarship Foundation, P.O.
