Wilbert Roy McKrieth

Wilbert Roy McKrieth, age 93, husband of Muriel Evadne McKrieth, of Meadows Place, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2023. After a brave battle with cancer, Wilbert passed away peacefully in his sleep.

Born and raised in St. Mary's Parish, Jamaica W.I., son of late Lawrence Martin McKrieth and Amy Thermuta Hendrick, had been a resident of Asbury Park, New Jersey for twenty years. Later moving to Miami, Fl. where he retired as a Machinist after twenty-seven years of service. He was an ordained Minister and a member of Church of God of Prophecy Center of Hope.

In addition to his wife Muriel, Mr. McKrieth is survived by his six children, Wilbert Anthony, Roderick, Vernon, Michael Anthony, Jaquelyn and Natacha Nedine; seven grandchildren, Anthony, Michael Anthony Jr., Christopher, Liya, Alexis, Ava, and Jasmine; and his one great-grandson Sebastian.

Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, in the chapel at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home, 12555 South Kirkwood Road, immediately followed by a funeral service also in the chapel at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home.

Following the funeral, all are invited to gather with the family and share remembrances of Wilbert during a reception to be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., in the event room at Earthman Southwest Funeral Home.

Wilbert will be cremated and his ashes will be scattered at his birth home in Jamaica.
