Bessie Jeanette Vande Linde, age 78, formerly of Manassas and Bumpass, Virginia passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018. She was born February 8, 1940 in Minnesota, to Herman Stahl and Agnes Jeanette Lunachek Stahl. Bessie was an excellent employee and worked at Toys R Us for 42 years. She enjoyed bowling in a league, riding on the boat, fishing, camping, and collecting dolls. She also enjoyed crocheting blankets. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who loved to entertain. Preceded in death by her brother, Norman Stahl and his wife, Lee. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Charles Kenneth Vande Linde; daughter, Pamela Irwin and her husband William Irwin; son, Jerry Vande Linde and his wife, Anita Vande Linde; son, Kenneth Vande Linde and his wife, Nonie Vande Linde; 3 grandsons, Joshua Causin, Brian Eldridge III, and Kenneth Vande Linde Jr; 7 granddaughters, Kelli Batkins, Judy Vande Linde, Brandy Eldridge, Katie Vande Linde, Danielle Vande Linde, Riza Alcantara, Nona Valdez and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 26, 218 at Mullins & Thompson, 186 Shelton Shop Rd. Stafford, VA with Rev. Jeff Parsons officiating. Burial at Stafford Memorial Cemetery, 154 Shelton Shop Rd. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the Mullins and Thompson Funeral Home, 186 Shelton Shop Rd.
