On Monday, August 3, 2020, Jenny Mae Norton, formerly of Temple Hills, MD, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family. She was called home at the age of 70 after a lengthy health battle. Through these battles she never stopped fighting and was a six year breast cancer survivor.
Jenny was born in Washington, DC on May 12, 1950 and was the second daughter to Clarence Edward and Charlotte Rowena Boyce. She lived most of her life in Maryland, where she was a long time member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 248. She loved horses, casinos, and winters in Florida. She spent the last few years of her life living with her daughter and family in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Jenny loved spending time with her family and friends, and meeting new people everywhere she went. She loved everyone and was quick to help others and would do anything for anyone. She loved to make people laugh, whether through little jokes, pranks or through her witty, often sarcastic or inappropriate humor. There was never a dull moment when she was around. She was fun, loving, courageous, strong willed and tender hearted. She was loved by many, and will be truly missed and never forgotten.
Jenny was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Charlotte Boyce, her husband, Raymond Thomas Norton, and her niece Sandy Lynn Reeves. She is survived by her daughter (and son in law) Tammy (Steve Myers), her granddaughters Stephanie, Jaclyn , and Madison, her great grand-daughter Tegan, her sister Glenda Wisekal, her great nieces, Fallyn and Jessica and several great-great nieces and nephews.
