Arnold Dunn, 86, executive and philanthropist. A veteran of WWII who served in the Coast Guard and graduated from Brown University, he had a long career in the shoe industry, serving as president of the Marx & Newman Company, chairman of Intershoe Corporation, and founder of Arnold Dunn, Inc., working extensively in Italy. He was a longtime donor to charitable causes, including both his alma mater and Mount Sinai Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Deborah, his son, Adam, and his grandsons, Samuel and Jacob.
