Marie I was so sorry to hear about your brother. Al and I were always friends ever since I was a little kid living across the street from you on Victory Blvd. He was like an older brother to me. Even though it has been a long time since I have seen Al
he will be missed.

My years of working with Al, AKA "Otto" are full of great memories, most of them funny. Al was a great joker with an unusal sense of humor that will not soon be forgotten. He was one of the "old-timers" working in Motorcycle Pct. #2, Richmond. As the new officers, like me, were transferred to Staten Island from Brooklyn, Al would break us in, teaching us many helpful procedures. Through good times & bad, Al never lost his sense of humor. He was truly a "Red Patch" Motorcycle Officer. He will be missed by all that had the pleasure of serving with him. Rest in peace, my friend, Anthony (Tony) Marone.
