I was heartbroken when they told me about Brother Riner. I wish I could put into words what he fully meant to me. I am not going to be able to go to the funeral, but wanted you all to know you're in my thoughts and prayers. Thank you for sharing this very specail gift from God with all of us. Each time I saw him it was like my heart was hugged. I share in your sadness and cling to the many memories growing up at Sturgeon Creek. ( I can still see him making waffles at sunrise.) God bless each of you.

I was saddened to hear Bro. Maurice would not be with us here on earth any longer. I know the peace and love he feels now comforts us all. I visited my childhood church of Spring Hill in Irwin Co. with my parents often and loved to hear Bro. Maurice speak while he was pastor there. He was one of the most kind and humble men I've known. He was as strong as stone and as gentle as a spring rain. Knowing him was refreshing and always a pleasure to see him when I visited my parents' church. Prayers of comfort to all the family as you travel this journey of loss and separation. Til you meet again.....Love to you all.
