Nathan Nathaniel Stafford, 83 years old, of Statesville, passed away peacefully at Gordon Hospice House on March 20, 2018. Nathan was born on December 21, 1934 in Startex, SC to the late William and Mamie Thompson Stafford. He retired from Clark Equipment in Statesville as a tool maker.
Nathan was predeceased by his two sisters, Irene Miller and Betty Bridges. He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Kay Williams Stafford and his son, Tony Stafford and his wife Jane of Burlington, NC.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday 1pm with Rev. Crosswhite officiating at Iredell Memorial Gardens, Statesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Nathan’s memory to Iredell County Hospice and Palliative Care.
