So many memories for an Aunt loved beyond words. My sitter at lunches when my parents were at work, my counselor in hard times from a ‘hip’ Aunt. Special gifts at Christmas. Fondest memories of recent times, sitting next to her at a keno machine where she won. She was so excited.
Special lady for sure.

My fiancee Becky and I were spreading our good news on the day after Christmas, so of course we had to stop at the Bucek's. Wayne was not home but Helen and John were. When we gave them our news, the four of us got into a group hug and were literally jumping for joy. It is the fondest memory of one of the best days in my life.

Mrs. Bucek was a step grandma to my two girls. She was a wonderful neighbor.
She would come over and we shared garden. She always had a smile on her face.
She would organize an Easter egg hunt for my girls and when Halloween came my girls ran to her first to show off the costumes..
She was a sponsor for my girls first communion.
I felt my girls were safe when Buceks were around.
I remember how super excited she was when her grandchildren were born...
John and Helen are back together..

When Aunt Helen would come here my mother would get so happy and excited, her gambling partner was her and how they loved to be together and doing what they enjoyed so much. Then when I would bring them home they were exhausted so they would eat and then I would find they both snoring away on their recliners, only to do it again the next day.
Aunt Helen I will miss you so much.
