Sung Lee is survived by her sister Mee Oi (Lee) Cheng; her children Dewey [Jeanine], D. Douglas [Julie], Mary [the late Richard] Moy-Gregg, D. Tom; her grandchildren Kameko [Derek] Colburn, Jonathan [Reem] Gregg, Keanna [Shiloh] Keo, Samantha [Joseph] Zorilla , Christopher, Sarah, Koji, Benjamin, Kenslee, Evan, Thomas, Miracle and her 6 great-grandchildren.
Sung Lee, with her husband, the late Key Moy (aka Ben Lai Yee) worked and operated a Chinese Hand Laundry business that was located in Oak Park and moved to the west side of Chicago (both on Madison Street) for 20 years. She also worked at E. J. Brach’s in Chicago for 25 years in the chocolate covered cherries department. During her time in the U.S, Sung Lee lived in Oak Park, Chicago, Boise, and Elmhurst where she resided for over 30 years.
A funeral service for Sung Lee will be held Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at Mount Auburn Cemetery.
