I was honored to be not only Barbara's step daughter but a friend. She was also so kind to me. She taught me to listen not with my ears but with my heart. She showed me how to be grateful for the little things.
My life has changed for the better just by knowing her. I will miss her everyday.

Barbara and I go back to elementary school and Stockbridge Presbyterian Church. The fun we had, the fun hay rides we had to Stone Mountain with our Youth Group. The rides we took to Indian Springs. The bowling events and won't say who threw the ball backward, but we laughed for hours. We have stayed in touch even when I moved out of Georgia, she would send me a special note just because. I loved our times together and will never forget you. Till we see each other again.

Sending my deep simpathy to Barbara's family. I have not known her very long but regarded her as a true friend with a caring heart. I was heartbroken when she became seriously sick. I will miss her pleasant and joyful spirit.
