Loved the photo tribute! Mom loved spending time with Barbara at the music venues - the Sawmill, the Barn. She also enjoyed watching Riverheads basketball when Mike and Frank were playing. I also enjoyed getting to know Barbara during her years at DuPont. Such a beautiful lady❤️

Velda, Rick, Michael and families,

Sending our condolences to you and your families.

Many special memories over all of these years, from growing up in the Draft, our folks in the LIon's Club, and our mom's were dear friends. I was going through some of mom's pictures last night and came across the photo album when they came out to California, Nevada and to see us for a few days before heading back to Virginia. Many memories and laughs.

It was always so good to visit with Velda and Barbara when we would come home to visit, mom tried to get us around to see as many people as she could, and other schedules would allow.

Sending lots of thoughts and prayers your way.

Dear Velda and Family, So sorry to hear of Barbara passing. She was such a sweet lady, always had a smile on her face. We shared a lot of good times at the sawmill dances and at the music in the park, also at the jam session at Sherando. She will surely be missed by all that knew her. Kathy Allen

Mike, Rick and families,
Please accept Brooke's and my sincere sympathy in the passing of your mother last Sunday. Accept our apoligies for the delay in sending this but we were also dealing with the death of Becky's sister also last Sunday morning. I got behind in my checking obituaries this past week. I did enjoy the photo album you included with the obituary. That is the way I remember the family as I was growing up.

Sincerely

Elliott and Brooke Boyd
