Barbara Riedl, of Middleboro, passed away September 26, 2018, following a period of declining health. Beloved wife of 52 years of John Riedl; loving mother of Kenneth Riedl (Sharon) of Cortland, NY, and Edward Riedl (Elisa) of Framingham; cherished grandmother of Jenna, Sophie, Tim, Amanda, and Oliver; beloved sister of Ann Keating (Gene), and the late James O’Hagan. She was the daughter of the late James and Gertrude (Stott) O’Hagan. Barbara grew up in Brooklyn NY and was a graduate of All Saints High School. She resided in New York City for 62 years before moving to Middleboro. She worked as a secretary for Ris Paper, and was employed in the finance department for Eutectic Corporation and Thomson Financial Corp. Barbara was a huge New York Mets fan and was active in the Women’s Club and New York Club in their living community at Oak Point, and enjoyed playing Mahjong. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 1 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 160 Concord Road, Sudbury, followed by interment at Edgell Grove Cemetery, 53 Grove Street, Framingham.
