Lorraine was such a loving and sweet person.. I have known her for many years and she was a very good friend of my mom. They both worked at the Townhall in Sudbury. I remember her recent visit to my house at the Cape. She always had such a great sense of humor and a wonderful warm smile. It was an honor that she was the witness and signed our Ketubah at our wedding. I will keep her memory in my heart.

There are no adequate words to describe my mom - she was pure love, laughter, warmth, intelligence and beauty. She shaped the person I am and strive to be and I will hold all of our amazing memories close to my heart forever. We were so lucky to be so close in our relationship and in proximity - it just never feels like enough time. My 3 boys adored everything about her - I could not conjure up in my head a more perfect grandmother. Love you forever Mumz💗

Both Lorraine and Mort welcomed me into their home on countless occasions years back, and I will forever remember feeling welcome and appreciated as I came over to spend time with Karin. I consider myself lucky to have known her, no matter how briefly. My deepest condolences to the entire family.

Lorraine was the Administrative Assistant when I was hired by the Sudbury Fire Department in 1981. It was easy to see that she excelled at her job, but I quickly learned her influence went well beyond her work tasks. She always lent measured dignity and intelligence to every situation. I learned my firefighting skills from others, but I learned many wonderful life lessons from Lorraine. I was fortunate to be able to keep in touch with her for many years after her retirement. Our last conversation took place about a month ago. To my delight, she did most of the talking. She quickly brushed her medical troubles aside and took great pride in telling me about all of the recent accomplishments of her grandchildren. Lorraine was a wonderful person, and I am sorry to hear about her passing away. I hope her family can be soothed by remembering the love and support she gave everyone throughout her life. I extend my heartfelt condolences to her entire family.

A wonderful woman! As a new member of the fire dept. we immediately bonded. Due to a funny chain of events Lorraine soon was referred to by me as "Mom" and I was "Son". She was such a great person to work with and she was beyond helpful. All of us who knew her were so fortunate to have her in our lives. My deepest condolences to all her family.
