Sulphur- Raymond Wayne "Lil Wayne" Ravia, 42, died Monday, March 5, 2018. He was a native of Cobb County, Georgia and had been a resident of Sulphur for the last 10 years, moving from Breman, Georgia. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, shooting pool, riding horses with his son, and helping people. He was a member of the Kinfolk Motorcycle Club. He will be remembered as a loving and caring father and great family man, loving his mother, brothers, sisters, and children dearly.

Survivors include his mother, Brenda Resko Williams and husband, Johnny of Starks; his children, Brooklyn Ravia of LaFayette, Georgia, Joey W. Ravia of Sulphur, and Lacey Ravia of Buckcannon, Georgia; his siblings, Theresa Holts and husband, Stanley of Temple, Georgia, Joey J. Ravia and wife, Dana of Starks, Sondra Miller and husband, Homer of Sulphur, and Eddie Williams of Starks; and his granddaughter, Freya Ravia. He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Wayne Ravia.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 9, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. Stanley Holts will officiate. Burial will be in Farquhar Cemetery in Sulphur. Visitation is from 4-9 p.m. Thursday and from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service Friday in the funeral home. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.

I met Country doing a benefit for my mom after she passed and he helped me a lot through the time of grievance and we became very good friends and he also took me on his bike for the first time in my life.Country was a very kind and caring man and would do anything for anyone he will be truly missed and thought of..my deepest sympathies goes out to his family
