Roy Delosey

He was a native of Vinton and a longtime resident of Sulphur. Roy enjoyed shrimping, going to the horse races, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mary Delosey; his daughters, Mitzy Lanthier and Alana Delosey, all of Sulphur; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sons, Alan Roy Delosey and Roy Lee Delosey; and his siblings, George Delosey, Gene Delosey, Stella Benoit, Lena Marshall, and Pearl Jardneaux.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 22, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Doucet will officiate. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly.
