Faye was one of six children, with 3 brothers, John, Clifford, and Glenn, and 2 sisters Vivian and Gladys. Faye lived on the farm in Bucklin and later as a young adult moved to Wichita, KS, where she met and married her husband William (Bill) DeVorss.
Faye worked as an office administrator for a prominent company in Wichita and was quite successful in her career endeavors. She took great pride in her work and shared her enthusiasm for her work with everyone she met. Faye and Bill moved to Sun City, AZ, after she completed her career in Wichita.
Faye always loved fashion and was an impeccable dresser. She would make frequent visits to Kansas City for the Christmas holidays to visit her youngest brother Glenn and wife Ann, and her many, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Everyone loved her visits and her warm and caring demeanor permeated the homes she visited. Great times were had by all! Faye loved life and lived it to the fullest.
Faye passed away just short of living 100 years on this earth in Sun City, AZ. She will be missed, but never forgotten.
Rest in peace Faye ... we will miss you.
