Keith Ernest Raile

Keith was born on June 10, 1940 in St. Francis, KS to Ernest F. Raile and Esther E. Raile. He graduated from St. Francis Community High School in 1958. After graduation Keith served in the Air Force from 1961-1965 as a heavy ground radar electronics technician at Mt. Hebo, Oregon. Keith met Shirley, his future wife during his time in Oregon and they were married in October of 1964.

Keith worked for IBM starting as a Field Engineer, and after living in Rochester, MN; Kansas City, MO, where their son Greg was born; Denver, CO, where their daughter Julie was born; Plano, TX; Boca Raton, FL; and ending up back in Denver, CO, he retired after 25 years of service as a Systems Engineer. A few years after they retired Keith and Shirley moved from Denver to AZ full time, where they enjoyed golfing, hiking and retired life in general. In the heat of the summer they would enjoy traveling to Denver and Ohio and many points in between while visiting their adult children and their families.

He was preceded in death by his brother Larry K. Raile and son Gregory Raile.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Raile, daughter Julie Richard (Brian); his three grandchildren, Danielle, Samantha, and Matthew; and his sister Jude Walker. As well as five great granddaughters, many nieces and nephews, as well as grand nieces and nephews he enjoyed watching grow.

Keith has been cremated. In accordance with their wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
