We met at work, volunteering for the same committee. Ann got me started in cross-stitch, and shared her tasty recipes with me. She was an avid outdoor gardener in addition to cultivating many lovely African violets. Her cats were the joy of her life, as were her friends and her annual retreats. Her Christmas tree hosted a collection of angels. I will always remember her last visit to the island, when she made time to sit and laugh with us in our backyard. We said, we would do it more often. I phoned on her birthday - no answer, but I thought she must be on a trip or perhaps on a retreat. My Christmas card was returned with the sad news. Dear Ann, may your kind spirit bask in the light of love and rest in peace.

As a kid I was in awe of Ann. Jetting from one locale to another seemed exotic to an eight year old. At the time it seemed strange that my mother couldn't call her during the day but she was often sleeping at odd hours after a trans Atlantic flight. Ann was a dear friend to my mother and she has a special place in our hearts as well. We hope she encounters clear blue skies and a tail wind on her journey. We will miss you Ann.

It is with love and fondness I remember Ann. She was the cousin with the cool adventures of travel. I remember the hand me downs I got from her (usually very nice clothes of quality). I remember visiting her at her house with my kids and being impressed by her flower beds. I remember her cats! She is missed!

Ann got me hooked on growing African violets. We often worked together and she would always tell me how busy she was and how the job was interfering with her gardening, cats and her social life. I remember her beautiful smile and kindness. She will always be special in the hearts of those who shared in her life. May God's grace and strength be with Ann's family during this time of sorrow. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Ida

Very saddened to hear about Cousin Ann. Due to distance we didn't see a lot of her growing up, but every visit was filled with fun stories of her travels & her charming life. Wish we could have been there on Thursday, but were there in spirit. Love Aunt Loretta & Uncle Cec's Family.

Thank you for caring for the plight of orphans in India, our furry four legged friends and those in need within our community. Cousin Ann; you will be missed especially for all your kindness and compassion. I am only sorry that I had stopped travelling to the west coast as I enjoyed our dinners together so very much when I was there.
