It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anni Culzoni-Wollman in Richmond on July 25, 2020 at the age of 70. Anni was born into a large family on September 15, 1949 in Paraguay, South America. She later moved to Winnipeg, Canada as a young adult, where she had her daughter Rosalina and met the love of her life, Martin. On a holiday to British Columbia in1993, Anni fell in love with the beautiful landscapes and the warm weather that BC had to offer and within 6 months they would leave the cold winters of Winnipeg behind them to start a new chapter of their lives where Anni could grow the most beautiful gardens full of colourful and fragrant flowers. She would spend hours in her gardens being with her lord and saviour, the Lord Jesus.
Anni is survived by her wonderful husband Martin, her beautiful daughter Rosalina and granddaughter Isabella, her many siblings including Jakob (Nela), Maria (Gerhart), Helena, Ben (Margareta), Nela (Isaak), David (Martha), Lisa (Dwight), Margareta (John), Willi (May). She is pre-deceased by her parents Johann and Maria Bergen, and her siblings Johann, Abraham (Tina) and Gertrude. Anni was an amazing Wife, Mother, Oma, and the most loving friend you ever had, she had the greatest love for all of God creations, a devoted Christian who spent endless amounts of hours serving her church and community and welcoming everyone with open arms and a loving heart.
Her radiant smile would light up any room she entered, she embraced you with every bit of strength she had and you knew you were safe in her arms as she was a true angel sent from Heaven. She was a blessing and a gift from God and she will be truly missed by all.
We will be having a small intimate service on Friday, August 7 and then on the following year, August 7, 2021 we will be having a larger memorial service where everyone can come together to celebrate the amazing life and legacy of the beautiful Anni Culzoni-Wollman.
