Wade, Dorothy - Born in Watford, England on October 20, 1909 and came to Canada in 1910, she was the daughter of the artist Dudley Ward, creator of the "Dingbats". Dorothy was married to Fred Wade in March 1937 and is survived by their loving daughter Betty, White Rock, BC and granddaughter Heidi (Edelmann) Sukenick, son-in-law Freedom and great-grandsons, Ethan, Jacob and Isaac. Dorothy became a member of the Baha'i' faith in the early 30's and was a long time volunteer for Unicef. She was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1971. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Ocean View Care Home, for the care and attention given to Dorothy while she lived there. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Sunnyside Lawn Cemetery, 14850-28th Avenue, Surrey, BC.
