A little about Margaret
Margaret was born on Dec 17th 1929 (Vancouver), and had 2 brothers (Orville and Ted).
She worked at Sears, Hudson Bay and was also a Candy Striper (For Special needs, at times she even use to bring home a patient for Thanksgiving/Christmas, etc…to give them a special day as well) and raised a family of 5 children.
She loved to dance, sing and travel (St Thomas & Hawaii being her favorite).
When we kids were young she use to take us camping for 2-3 weeks straight every summer break.
Loved watching the Canucks (especially with her two sons (Mike and Joe)).
And yes mom like to attend the Casino every once in a while (wink).
She was a member of the Legion during her time there she ran the meat draw, assisted in all aspects of the Poppy run for “Remembrance day” and was on the Sick and Visiting committee.
She also was great at knitting and crochet.
Although she did face some struggles along the way, she always kept her head high, fought through it and was positive.
Margaret was easy going, loving, fun, caring and strong.
She was a really great mom and reared her children properly.
Mom was loved and will missed so much.
