Our thoughts and prayers go out to Francis, Leo, their families and friends on the loss of Blanche. I grew up living next door to Ma” / “Nanny Blanche” as my children and I called her, and spent a lot of time at her house especially after my own mom died at a very young age. She was my “ other mother” and although the years passed by and I didn’t get to see her much these later years I still loved her with all my heart. and thought of her often. She was as a kind hearted woman who always had a cup of tea ready and something sweet that she had baked when you visited her and quite often you were met by the sounds of her laughter floating down the hallway. Many times you would visit and find her sitting at her little card table doing a picture puzzle or knitting her famous slippers. She had patience and then some for those things. She was a beautiful human being and was loved by many.

“Ma” .... I will miss you, remember and love you always, and I will see you again.......

Your “daughter” Marcia Thompson and children Jordan and Kaitlynn
