

Amelia Latricia Talley, 49, of Sylacauga, Alabama, passed away on August 14, 2024. Born on January 6, 1975, in Goodwater, Alabama. Amelia was known for her bravery, humor, and courageous spirit. She had an immense love for people and was deeply devoted to her family and her faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she actively shared her faith and served others.
Amelia's passion for cooking was well-known among her friends and family. She enjoyed trying new recipes and sharing them with others, bringing joy and delicious flavors to many gatherings.
She is survived by her Father, Clarence (Penny) Foster; Sisters, Denise Foster, Tyshenia Foster, Imesa Thomas; Grandparents,Jewel and Jane Few Foster; Aunts, Gwenda Phillips, Jeanetta (Clayton) Jews; Uncles, James Foster, Hugh (Brenda) Foster; Nephews, Jeremiah Foster, Darrell Foster, Radarius Foster, Tyrese Thomas; Grandnieces and Grandnephews, Marilyn Foster, Nylah Foster, De’Angelo Foster and De’lissa Foster; along with many friends and members of her church, and numerous other family members. Amelia was preceded in death by her Mother, Linda Mae Gaddis Carwell and Grandparents, Mack Ceaser and Cornelia Conway Gaddis.
A visitation for Amelia will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 190 Shocco Springs Road, Talladega, AL 35160. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM, officiated by President Robert K. Boot.
Amelia will be laid to rest at Hatchett Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM the same day.
Curtis and Son Funeral Home in Sylacauga is assisting the family with arrangements. Amelia's life and legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew her, as a protector, a loving family member, and a cherished friend.
