Eleanor Fountain, age 83, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away at her residence on Thursday July 2, 2020. Eleanor was born March 13, 1937 to Grace Newman and John Paul Blankenship.

Eleanor is survived by her sister Ms. Flora Blankenship; brother J.P. Blankenship and his wife Patricia; brother Curtis Newman and his wife Ann; niece Trisha L. Blankenship Block and her husband Johnny Block; niece Crystal Newman Hunt and her husband Chase Hunt; great niece Taryn Hunt and great nephew Jacob Block.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Fountain; father John Paul Blankenship and mother Grace Newman.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eleanor's memory may be made to American Heart Foundation.
