Sad to hear. I remember Kermie from my childhood. He was a good person and role model.

Kermie will forever live on in our hearts. He was an inspiration to everyone he was around. There are not enough words to describe him: Kind, humble, honest, willing to help,and loving. We truly love Kermie and Gladys and their children and grandchildren. Thank you Kermie for being a special part of our lives. We are looking forward to seeing you in Heaven one day!

Gladys and family, I am so saddened to hear of Kermie's passing. Your family, Kermie's family, and my family will always be "neighbors". I'm lucky to have known Kermie, and he will live in memory.

Dear Don, Keith and the entire Dennis Family - I would like to express my sincere sympathy for your loss. My favorite memories of your father will always be of the Cake Auctions we would have at the fire department. It was his enthusiasim and determination to bid on a cake that he wanted and the grin on his face when he won it that I remember most. I remember the last fish fry we had at the Fire Department and how he helped Andy fry all those fish, donating his time and helping out all day that day. He was a sweet man and I know he will be missed by all those who knew him.

Condolences to Kermie's family.  I have such wonderful memories of my childhood years living in a little "family" circle where Kermie's family, my family and Monya's family (all of us first cousins) lived next to each other or across the road and only a few feet from our grandpa Thornton.  I think we spent every waking hour playing together, eating meals together and going to church together in a small church grandpa had built at the foot of his property.  I cherish all the memories I have of Kermie and remember how kind and sweet he was. I know he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
