Martha A. Basal

Martha Anne Basal, age 68 died January 7th, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. After three long years, she lost her courageous battle against ALS. She was an incredibly devoted mother and grandmother as well as a lover of music, gardening, decorating, real estate and cooking, but most of all, family. She will forever be remembered for her tenacity, sense of humor, and dignity. Anyone who knew her knew of her passion for animals, especially dogs and horses. As per her request, we ask that those who wish to do so please make a donation to the ASPCA, or any other animal rescue of your choice. She is survived by daughters, Kelly Wilson and Jennifer (Joseph) Grgas, grand children Ava Grgas and Joseph Grgas, step children, Brenda Basal, James Basal, Laurie Soucier and Sherry Genga and siblings Carol Judson, David Coburn, Kathy Whitcomb, Mary Brown and Wilma Coburn.
