She will be laid to rest next to her husband Daniel at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson, OK. Online condolences for the family may be left at www.reedculver.com. Willa Mae Grove Foreman was born on March 28th, 1936 in Homestead, OK, the daughter of Ethel Mildred Tooman Ford. She grew up with two brothers and one sister, David, Deborah, and Dale. She graduated from Muskogee High School. Willa met and married Daniel Foreman Jr, and this union was blessed with three sons and one daughter, Michael Deamonte, Robert Jobe, Thomas Jobe, and Terri Russell. She worked for over twenty years at the Muskogee Police Station filing documents. Whenever she wasn’t working, she enjoyed music and played the accordion and violin. She had many hobbies, everyone of her grandchildren had a homemade quilt, and many had one of her beautiful landscape paintings. There was nothing better than a day spent out on the lake or river doing a little fishing. Willa enjoyed hunting for a bargain at the garage sales and was the cheerful, happy person that always made you smile. She was friendly and outgoing, and she enjoyed helping people whenever she could. Her family was the most important part of her life. Her grandchildren were a great sense of pride for Willa. She was a devout member of the Chandler Church of Christ in Muskogee, and taught Sunday School and helped with all the special occasions. The Wednesday Night Ladies Circle was her favorite, and they often made Teddy Bears for the children in the hospital. Her husband Daniel passed from his life in 1986. Will kept busy with her family until her health began to fail her. The Lord called this good and faithful servant home from her labors on April 29th, 2018 in Muskogee, OK, with her loved ones by her side. She was 82 years old. She will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, grandparents and husband Daniel. Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Michael Deamonte of Texas, Robert Jobe of Tahlequah, Terri Russell of Muskogee, Ok, and Thomas Jobe of Maine. She leaves her brothers and sister, David Ford and wife Jan of Muskogee, OK, Deborah Muss and husband Dale of Texas, and Dale Ford of Muskogee, OK, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.
